Vintage Cake Decorating Class

In this class, you'll be decorating your own 6-inch, 2-layer cake finished in a simple vintage style with piping and bows. You'll be able to choose your own colours.

This is a hands-on decorating class, where I'll guide you step by step. You'll learn:

  • How to stack and fill your cake
  • How to crumb coat and smooth it cleanly
  • Piping techniques and vintage-style details
  • Tips and tricks I use in my own cakes

Your cake layers will already be baked and chilled when you arrive, making it easier for you to work with and get a clean finish.

Each station will be fully set up with:

  • Turntable
  • Spatulas and scraper / smoother
  • Piping bags and piping tips
  • Cake board and box to take your cake home

For the filling, you can choose raspberry jam or keep it simple with just buttercream.

This is a small, intimate class (max 5–6 people), so everyone gets the attention and help they need. You'll have 3 hours to complete your cake.

This is a decorating-focused class only — perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to improve their skills. No experience needed.

Scotland's first

Cake Painting Experience

Inspired by the viral cake painting trend first seen in Dubai, this is Scotland's first cake painting experience.

This is not a teaching class or a structured workshop. It is a relaxed, self-guided creative activity where you can paint and decorate your own cake however you like, in a calm and aesthetic setting.

You will be given a small square cake along with a palette of summer-themed pastel colours — including soft yellows, blues, oranges, pinks and greens to match the summery theme of the event. Using palette knives and decorating tools, you'll paint and decorate the top of your cake to create your own edible canvas.

No experience is needed. This experience is all about creativity, enjoying the atmosphere, taking photos, socialising and having fun.

  • A small square cake
  • Summer-themed pastel colour palette
  • Palette knives and decorating tools
  • Cake box to take your creation home
  • Styled aesthetic setup
